ESPN, Disney, Pixar and the NFL announced "Monsters Funday Football" on December 8, featuring the defending Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles at the Los Angeles Chargers, all taking place inside the iconic Monsters, Inc. building.

What to Expect:

  • Mike Wazowski and James P. "Sulley" Sullivan joining Jalen Hurts and the Eagles and Justin Herbert and the Chargers

  • Action unfolding on the Cheer Floor (reimagined Scare Floor) with thousands of cheering monsters

  • Cheer Canisters replacing Scream Canisters as teams compete for both game victory and Cheer Champion title

  • Roz serving as sideline reporter because she's "always watching, always watching!"

  • Original voices: Billy Crystal (Mike), John Goodman (Sulley), and Bob Peterson (Roz)

  • ESPN's Drew Carter and Dan Orlovsky calling the action from within Monstropolis using VR technology

  • Chris Berman making his Funday Football debut

The previous Funday Football presentations have earned multiple Sports Emmys and awards for their innovative blend of real-time NFL data, cutting-edge animation, and beloved Disney characters. This edition promises to bring the same technological wizardry to the world of Monstropolis.
